Cole is an experienced marketing professional who believes good marketing should do more than get someone’s attention, it should help people understand what they’re getting into and feel confident in the people they’re trusting.

Cole earned his degree in marketing from Hastings College in Hastings, Nebraska, where he also played college football. Since then, he has spent the majority of his career developing marketing strategies designed to help businesses grow, strengthen their brands, and create better experiences for the people they serve.

That experience has shaped the way Cole approaches marketing at Confluent. In a world where financial services can often feel complicated, impersonal, or overly sales-driven, he believes transparency and education matter. His focus is on using marketing not simply to promote Confluent’s services, but to give people useful information, answer questions, and help them better understand the decisions they’re making with their financial future.

For Cole, earning someone’s trust is more important than simply earning their business. That’s why he views marketing as an extension of the overall client experience, an opportunity to be helpful, straightforward, and genuine from the very first interaction.

Outside of work, Cole likes to stay active by playing sports and going to the gym. He’s also a big fan of movies, sporting events, and live concerts.
